Meet Joan Maxymuik

December 2004	Several years ago I had life-saving surgery that left me with a severely compromised immune system. I spent vast amounts of time and money, trying to bring my body back to a healthy state, only to be disappointed with the results. I was unable to work and was bedridden with flu's and viruses each winter for nearly the entire season. Meet Scott OBrien

Scott OBrien has been in Sales, Management and Leadership positions for over 27 years of his professional career. Scott started out of High School as a Union Carpenter and specialized in Floor Covering. As his 4-year apprenticeship ended... he decided he didn't want to work for someone else anymore and started his own floor covering business out of the basement of his home.

Over the next 20 years, Scott's hard work and determination to provide customer satisfaction, employee relationships and floor covering knowledge... took his business to over one million in annual sales, a retail store location with over a 7000 square feet showroom, a 1500 square foot warehouse full of carpet, a fleet of 5 installation trucks and an added carpet cleaning service to compliment the floor covering business which helped Scott keep in touch with customers on a regular basis rather than every few years when they needed carpet.

Network Marketing

In 1996, Scott OBrien was diagnosed with cancer. His new focus was now on his 4-year battle with cancer, which took him to cancer centers all over the USA. In 2000, Scott's persistence, focus, and "God's Will" led to cancer remission. Scott was also blessed in that his wife Kristen was an RN and was able to provide for the family and keep their finances in order. Scott was happy to be a stay at home dad and take care of their 3 children as well as all the thankless jobs like cooking, cleaning and laundry, but he also had a desire to find a way to make an additional income from home.

Although he had good knowledge about owning his own business, Scott was pretty much computer illiterate. So his first focus was to learn how to use a computer... which eventually introduced him to Internet Marketing. Scott will tell you it wasn't instant success, but with determination to learn and aligning himself with other successful marketers, he able to learn how to create success.
