Brad's Story.......Meet Brad's Family

I was born in St. Louis, MO to parents who were from a traditional family model where the man worked and the wife was a homemaker. My father was an educator and worked hard for 30+ years instructing students on becoming better citizens of society.

In 1977, my dad built us a house in the "country" so.....when we moved, sports became my outlet and a way to express my talent because there really was nothing else to do. In Junior High, I was on the “elite” basketball team. We did very well and even won a championship during my 3 years on the team.

In high school I didn’t fare so well with basketbal or baseball and found myself playing Golf instead. My father had taught me when I was a young boy and I figured I would give it a shot, no pun intended. I was hooked and went on to become a state qualifier in high school and even was ranked as a top golfer in the nation for High School 4A Athletics.

After Graduating from College in 1994, I set out on my career path of teaching. I graduated with a Physical Education degree. I worked with students in the urban environment and loved the challenge of just working with kids. I needed something else because money was always so tight.

I started my search in 1998 for the right opportunity and funded just about 6 years of failure. I had maxxed out all 6 credit cards to the tune of just about $80,000.00 trying to find that one "Purple Cow" marketing program that was going to bail us out of debt.

I was beginning to believe I was headed for the “body bag” of the home based business industry and just about ready to become a permanent part of the 98% Failure Rate I had heard so much about.

In January of 2004, I came across a program that a colleague of mine introduced to me. I was done with the home business industry because I lost more than I ever imagined I would lose, but something still lured me to this program.

I went ahead and bought it but let it sit on the shelf for 6 months. It wasn’t until June of 2004 that I realized I needed to raise money for a child my wife and I adopted from India. At the time we had not realized we would have to pay so much for his court costs and care giver fees by August.

I realized I needed to manifest the money quickly so I pulled out this program my colleague shared with me in January and began to work it.

I started on June 26th, which was a Saturday afternoon. I began reviewing everything and then put the system into action. By August 3rd, I had brought in $10,000.00 with that program. Man was I happy. I had finally broken the 6 year losing streak I had been on with Internet Marketing.

Yo Mo! I have been on the Internet since before Al Gore invented it (engineers confused the way the internet started by calling it an “AlGorithum” and the confusion has never been resolved). I always have known that the Internet had tremendous potential for business and making money. The question was always... "How do you make money on the Internet?” Initially I thought I could write the right computer program and then monetize it and it would work like a slot machine stuck on the three cherries. The only problem is that such programs only create “virtual money”. To create real money you have to understand business first, and then apply what you know to what has become known as the Information Super Highway. The Internet is all about information, not business. Truth is....that a profound understanding of business leads you to the fact that...... People do business with people not machines. So you need to make the machine help you as a business person, reach out and develop relationships with people. How I got here is a fairly long and convoluted story. The basics are that I have always been able to support myself with my education, jobs and a work ethic. Yes, I have a wife, two daughters and a cat and live in a house I own in a comfortable suburb of Seattle called Mercer Island (also home to Microsoft co-founder, Paul Allen). And yes, I built the boat with a friend of mine named Ben so we call the boat the Mo-Cedes-Ben’s. The boat is made of oak ribs, spruce stringers, stressed with Kevlar roving and has a heat shrink Dacron skin painted with Hypalon to resist puncture which it has been successful doing even now 20 years after we made the boat. It weighs about 55 pounds so it is lighter than a canoe. It has seen a lot of action as a fishing boat on Lake Washington and Puget Sound. The Blue Angels come right over my house at treetop level when they perform every summer during SeaFair week. Whenever they notch the afterburner I get a wave of deja vu because I grew up all over the world as the son of an Air Force command pilot. . Hardship can be looked at as a blessing or a curse. If you look at it as a blessing you will find ambition, direction, and enthusiasm to change the course of your life. One of my major "short comings" is that I have never been poor, or I would have sought wealth a lot sooner and would have been driven to seek the secrets I have learned sooner. The pursuit of wealth on the Internet has always been an avocation or a hobby for me, albeit an expensive one. A lot of you probably are just like me, in that you would like to have wealth from the Internet, but you don’t have that burning desire to make it happen. Being poor helps you develop that burning desire. But alas, I have had to develop that feeling without being hungry for it. There are all sorts of people on the Internet who proclaim to be “gurus”. It is difficult to sort them out as to who really is and who is merely hyped up to be a real guru. So how do you sort out the gurus from the hype? It’s not as easy as it sounds. Some high priced gurus are for real and some are not. Some low priced gurus are for real and some are not. Our approach is to show you that we are just normal people who have been blessed and want to pay it forward without charging you an arm and a leg. Yes, I spent $4,000 on a “training course” guaranteed to result in Internet riches (except the fine print said otherwise) and the training turned out to be otherwise too. The training “set me up” with a website that was created by a language called “asp” and all the pages were dynamic, which basically meant that the web spiders of the day could not read a word on the sites. The algorithm being used by search engines at the time rated sites by “back links” so the method of “search engine optimization” (SEO) was to create large linking pages that linked to other pages on the Internet that were similar in theme and the idea was to get the other sites to link back to you (reciprocal linking). This is still a factor in SEO but not the only factor. It’s not that I have not made money on the Internet, because I have made quite a bit over time with a number of substantial programs. What has eluded me however, was how to monetize my efforts in a much larger way. Part of the answer is to monetize yourself in a lot of small ways which I have done very successfully, but there is even a better answer that we will share with you in the $9.97 Make Money Now solution. Take a look at the picture of the sun, is it a picture of a rising sun or a picture of a setting sun? It is ambiguous as to which it is unless you know where it was taken. Is your pursuit of wealth a rising sun or a setting sun? It has been said that if you believe you can or believe you cannot, you are right. This is a picture taken at one end of a two mile long train tunnel on the John Wayne Iron Horse Trail in Snoqualmie Pass near Hyak. A lot of times in life you feel like you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, this picture helps me imagine what it is like to be focused on a goal and see it emerge as you just keep on going toward the light. As you travel in the tunnel you can only see about 20 feet with a flashlight, but if you keep your eye on the light at the other end of the tunnel you emerge into the sunlight every time. Our secret is like this journey in the tunnel, if you keep focused you will emerge into wealth every time.

The Purple Cow Story

One summer 3 friends traveling together on vacation, found themselves driving through upper Minnesota. The scenery was beautiful with green woodlands, lakes and mile after mile of easy rolling hills and meadows; all covered with huge herds of black and white Holstein milk cows. Farm country, dairy country…milk cow country. Well after a couple of hours of this scenery, our friends grew bored with looking out their windows at the same black and white cows mile after country mile.

All of a sudden, the driver slams on his brakes; brings the car to a skeetering halt on the side of the gravel road and quickly reaches for his Nikon 496. Without waiting for his friends, he bolts from the driver’s seat and quickly crosses the road. Leaping across the rain ditch and clearing it in one bound the excited “shutter bug” begins pawing his way up the other side toward the barbed wire fenced-in pasture. His two friends not knowing what to make of his crazy behavior, none-the-less quickly follow him up the slope to the fence where our eager photographer has already positioned himself for a series of wide angle shots.

Almost breathless they finally reach their friend who, braced against a fence post; is frantically snapping away at something in the middle of the pasture. There atop a knoll of tall green grass, calmly munching away grazes the most amazing creature. A small purple and white spotted Holstein heifer! Bug-eyed and mouths agape, all three friends begin to smile and laugh together as they look on. There in the middle of this herd of hundreds of black and white cows; here in the middle of Minnesota……home to hundreds of thousands of dairy cows mostly all just black and white……stands this one amazingly outstandingly beautiful little Purple Cow.

After shooting an entire roll of film, the three friends calmly return to their car whose doors had been left open on the side of this gravel road out here in the middle of “nowhere Minnesota.” They all smiled as they continued their journey, each knowing that if not another single thing happened during this entire road trip; that it had all been worthwhile just seeing that one little Purple Cow. Looking back as they sped away they could still see her atop that grassy knoll calmly munching away and standing out from the rest of the herd.

The moral of my little story as it applies to Marketing Online is this. If you want to really be successful with your marketing; find a way to be outstanding. Find a way to stand out from the rest of the herd. That’s what we have done here and that’s why my friend Mo here says we have put together the “Purple Cow” of Marketing Systems. When I first started on the Internet I was certain I was going to make a fortune right away. The picture that had been painted for me was one of hundreds of people effortlessly coming into my downline and the residual income piling up overnight. Boy was I wrong. I think I became an opportunity junkie because over the last 6 years I joined at least 40 different programs and opportunities. Well as I have already mentioned, the "jingle industry" had been undergoing some major changes and I knew I could not stabilize my income. As much as I really loved the music biz, I was still in a position of trading my time for dollars with all the music I was writing and producing.

I was also bound and determined to spend more time with my grandchildren than I had with my own sons and daughter when they were growing up. I was determined to spend some real quality "Time Freedom" with my grandchildren, contribute to their lives in a meaningful way, by being there for them not just leaving them an inheritance when I "kicked the bucket". History was not going to repeat itself.

I became an "enrollment monster," joining program after program and bringing "people into the deal" left and right. At one point I enrolled 127 people into the same opportunity in just one 16 hr. day. Over the next 3-6 months I watched almost everyone of them gradually drop out of the program, never making any money for themselves or very little; becoming frustrated with the program, disgusted with Marketing, upset and disillusioned and worse yet...."pissed-off" at me for bringing them into the deal in the first place.
